Latest strike from AT&T in the market is the LG eXpo GW820 smartphone. The touchscreen smartphone has detachable Texas Instruments DLP projector. The LG eXpo also has a 5mp camera with LED flash, a microSD card slot and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

The LG eXpo GW820 is device compatible with triband UMTS (850/1900/2100) and a 1,500mAh battery. For connectivity feature it has both WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR. Powered by 1GHz Qualcomm processor and has 800×480 resolution for its 3.2-inch touchscreen. The projector, on the other hand, could project up to 40-inches images, but no word on the projector resolution yet.

Where you’d usually expect to see a D-pad or trackball, LG have squeezed in what looks to be a fingerprint scanner which we’re guessing both controls horizontal scrolling as well as biometric security. This device is going to arrive in the US by this 7th December.
