XO-3 is a tablet concept unveiled by OLPC as the part of next OLPC (One Laptop Per Child) project. According OLPC chairman Nicholas Negroponte, XO-3 tablet is now still searching for the right type of ‘unbreakable’ material that will make the tablet more durable.

Is it something more rugged than Gorilla Glass and has the flexibility of plastic? XO-3 is prepared for showcase during CES 2011, however, due to the material problem, it is likely that XO-3 tablet will be postponed until unspecified date. No further details for technical specifications are being revealed at the time this report is written.

Cross your fingers as OLPC project is aiming to provide affordable type of laptop. A USD50.-/unit? ;p
