Samsung, the popular names behind the LED HDTV, has also showcased their latest Series 9 monitor at CES 2012 this year. The Series 9 27-inch monitor is designed to have 2560×1440 pixel resolution with billion color reach. Scheduled for release in March or April this year, Samsung Series 9 monitor is expected to carry a USD1,199 price tag.

This will also remark Samsung’s first PLS monitor comes with rounded aluminum base and slim outlook into the market. Samsung is reported going to recycled those last year’s Series 9 monitor into the new wide angles monitor that equipped with quad Core i7 processor, 8GB of RAM, dedicated 1GB video memory with unspecified AMD graphics, TV tuner while offering deep blacks and immersive colors.

Samsung-Series-9-monitorIt will also support wireless mouse and keyboard, but seems Samsung have no intention or plan to bring this new Series 9 monitor into the states.
