Four new 3D-ready HDTVs released by Samsung are UN65C8000 (65-inch), PN58C680 (58-inch), PN50C680 (50-inch) and PN50C490 (50-inch).

Samsung UN65C8000 3D LED HDTV has high dynamic contrast ratio of 8 millions to 1 and it comes with a LED-backlit unit and 240Hz panel with Wi-Fi connectivity.


UN65C8000 is claimed as the largest Full HD 3D LED TV that designed with built-in Samsung’s processor, a sleek 65-inch thick screen, proprietary Precision Dimming technology, supports Skype, Hulu Plus and ESPN Next Level via Samsung Applications.

There is a possible drawback exists on Samsung UN65C8000, which is the edge lit technology that might give rise for slightly uneven backlighting across the whole screen. However, until the UN65C800 is released into the market, who knows there might be some improvement made in the LED-back lit performance?

PN50C680 and PN58C680, on the other hand,  offer a 1080p display resolution at 600Hz panels, you will be able to use both 3D HDTV to access your PCs or DLNA compatible devices.

Both 3D HDTVs provide users the AllShare feature, allowing them to access media on other PCs or other DLNA-compatible devices. Finally, the 50-inch PN50C490 supports a lower 720p resolution display.
