Asus Transformer, you must have at least heard about the awesome tablet with keyboard docking once last year, don’t you? Today, Asus has announced their latest VivoTab ME400 that will soon release in UK by January 31st, 2013 for a 10.1-inch LED-backlit IPS display, 1366×768 resolution, and a thickness of 9.7-inch (tablet only exclude the detachable Bluetooth keyboard).

The VivoTab ME400 supports 5-point multi-touch, powered by Intel Atom Z2760 dual-core processor, running Microsoft Windows 8 OS and comes with 8 MP rear auto-focus camera, with five-element lens and 1080p Full HD video recording. At the front, there is a 2 megapixel camera that designed for face-to-face video chat.

VivoTab ME400’s Li-polymer 25Wh battery is claimed capable to provide up to 9.5 hours of usage, measured under power saving mode, playing 720p video playback, Brightness:100 nits, default volume with headphones.


Other features including 2GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 802.11 b/g/n wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, and 2-in-1 Audio Jack (head phone / mic-in), 1x Micro HDMI, 1x Micro SD Card Reader (supports SDXC cards as well), internal microphone, 1x Micro USB port and Dual Speaker powered by SonicMaster Audio Technology.

Available in three color selections of poppy re, diamond blue and ceramic white, the VivoTab ME400 also has G-sensor, Light sensor, Gyroscope, E-compass and NFC. Other accessories include an optional TranSleeve Keyboard for additional £90 and a fancy cover priced at £40.
